Divinity Original Sin 2 How To Make Money
OP apprentice Joined: Sep 2017 | Which ones are your best ways to make some money? i started to grind some real gold just recently, end of act 2, and thanks to that i'm able to beat tactician fights without cheese and burn my liver. Maybe the real problem was my eq, and the bigger part of the pain was being undergeared. Recently i discovered one trick to improve your gold income, but it's a bit cheesy. If you put all your trash-to-sell stuff in a barrell/bag/ect, and sell it to a merchant, you could stole the bag with thievery, and the value-meter only counts the value of a bag itself (like an empty bag). Then, you re-sell for the full price the bag, and basically double your income. |

Always sell old gear (except maybe unique, keep them in your chest) and get good barter. You only really need barter at level 4-5 with gears since it doesn't scale that well. Money shouldn't be an issue after that as its usage really drops starting in Nameless Isle with most legendaries and divine completely disappearing for certain type of gears. Act 2 is where you need the most money but that's also why it has the most trader as well. Every region of the map has at least 3-4 people you can steal from as long as you don't turn in their quests too fast (like Eithe). |

The prices of everything is ridiculous, even with the barter skill and all the equipment you steal is taged stolen so as soon as someone checks you, you will be found out. Stealing in other games is fun, in this one it sucks because it feels like more grinding work than anything else. I hate how stealing is implemented and would rather they just take it out all together since it feels more like a punishment than getting any kind of reward. |
